Booger Nights

*sniffle* *sniffle*

Doug, do you have a tissue?

Nope! Sorry, you'll just have to continue being all snotty. Hehehe!

*sniffle* *sniffle*

Mommy, do you have a tissue?

No sweetie, sorry.

*sniffle* *sniffle*

Here you go, Shnookie, you can use this.

*gasp* But Daddy, that's like clothing! I can't blow my nose on clothing!! Gross!!

It's not clothing, it's called a "handkerchief." People use them all the time to blow their noses. Back in the "old days" ladies used to have them and give them to knights as a favor!

*sniffle* *sniffle*

A favor for doing what?

Ha, ha! Carolyn has to use a snot-rag!!!

Douglas, do NOT tease your sister!

*sniffle* *sniffle*

Yeah Doug, do NOT tease me! :-P
So, a favor for what?

Well, to fight in their honor, I suppose.

What's so "honor" about a booger-cloth?

*sigh* Never mind, I think there's a napkin in the glove box you can use.

*sniffle* *sniffle* Thank you!

Stuff

I know, I know...it's been almost a month since I've posted. Where have I been, you might be wondering?! Working my ass off, is where! And loving it!

Being back at The Bird is such a joy in so many ways. First off, I'm learning something completely new and to expand my horizons and knowledge base is just such a fantastic experience! And being back with friends? Super-Duper!!! I've just finished my third week there, and PK has told me how great I'm doing. She says I'm a fast learner and have been really handling myself under the pressure with great confidence and ease! My days are long and tiring and I leave the office feeling physically and mentally exhausted, and I have never felt so satisfied with a day's work than I do these days! It has not been without challenges, though, but with those challenges come learning and experience.

Life in general has been a bit tumultuous lately and I'm grateful for the craze at work to keep my mind focused and exhausted. Luckily, the dreaded 'V' Day passed a lot better than I had expected it to, but it still left me with mixed feelings. There are a lot of things to think about in the near future, but in the mean time there's always wine!
